Hey Canmore! Ready to brighten your week? From creative paint nights and free community talks to happy hour steals all over town, there's a lot happening to lift your spirits this week. Highlights include a unique floral acrylic class at ArtsPlace, the return of Sip & Sketch at Wild Life Distillery, and multiple trivia nights if you're feeling brainy (and lucky 🍀). While the Canmore Folk Festival lineup just dropped, it's still a few months away - so keep scrolling for the awesome events you can enjoy this week!

🎵 Canmore Folk Festival reveals 2025 lineup
After a return to winter earlier this week, it’s nice to have something in the summer to look forward to. The 2025 Canmore Folk Festival lineup is here! Alberta’s longest-running folk music festival returns August 2-4, and this year’s edition is already shaping up well.
Held in the heart of town at Centennial Park, the festival draws thousands each day. With over 30 performers across multiple stages - including the always-popular Pub Stage at Miner’s Union Hall - this year’s lineup is shaping up to be a good one.
The first group of artists includes Aysanabee, Basia Bulat, Corb Lund, Donovan Woods, Frazey Ford, Chad VanGaalen, Kishi Bashi, and more. Expect daytime workshops, a kids’ area, and nightly dancing near the Stan Rogers Stage around 9:30 p.m.
The festival also puts its values into action, with a strong focus on sustainability, accessibility, and inclusivity. With limited parking downtown, organizers encourage festival-goers to walk, bike, or take transit. Check out the full lineup and event details. More
