Hello from Canmore! There's a lot to explore this week - from live music and comedy theatre to DJ nights, painting sessions, and even poker at the Legion. It's also a great week for learning something new, with free tech help, tax tips, and a hands-on quilting workshop. If you're eyeing the 5 Peaks trail race on June 7, now's the time to check it out. Hit the Trails at 5 Peaks Canmore - June 7th, 2025
Trail running season is back, and 5 Peaks Canmore #1 is ready to take over the legendary Canmore Nordic Centre on Saturday, June 7, 2025. With its Olympic heritage, winding singletrack trails, and stunning mountain views, this is the kind of race that delivers on both challenge and scenery.
No matter your age or ability, there's a course that fits. Young runners can join in the fun with 1K and 3K kids' races, while adults can take on the Sport (7K), Enduro (16.1K), or the ultimate test: the Grit (22.9K).

Race weekend kicks off Friday, June 6, with early bib pickup at Strides Canmore. The first wave - including Grit, Enduro, and 3K Kids - hits the trail at 9:15 a.m., followed by the 1K Kids' race at 9:40 a.m. Expect the awards ceremony to start around 11:00 a.m.
