First up, Canmore’s Olivia Maitland is making national headlines. She’s been named a 2025 Terry Fox Humanitarian Award recipient - one of only 25 across Canada! Known for her resilience and activism, she’s put Canmore on the map in the best possible way.
On the wildlife front, The Boss has survived once again after a pair of tragic train collisions claimed the lives of two young female grizzlies. The legendary bear was believed to be travelling with one of them.
And in a moment that brought smiles across the Bow Valley, a mama bear and her cubs crossed Moraine Lake Road - caught on camera in a quiet and magical moment.
