🍽️ Canmore Restaurants Earn Elite Status

Two Canmore restaurants have received the prestigious AAA Four Diamond status, awarded to upscale restaurants known for their outstanding service, quality, and consistency. Änkôr and Sauvage now join an elite group of just 500 restaurants in North America. Impressively, only four restaurants in Alberta hold a Four Diamond or higher rating - and two are in Canmore! 🎉

🎥 Top Chef Filming in Canmore

Foodies, get ready! The upcoming season of Top Chef (Season 22, Top Chef: Destination Canada) was filmed in several Canadian cities - including Canmore! The popular cooking competition, premiering March 13, 2025, will showcase our town’s breathtaking scenery and vibrant food scene. 🎭 Canmore’s artsPlace Director Joins Sedona Cultural Exchange 🌎

Jeremy Elbourne, Executive Director of artsPlace, visited Sedona, Arizona, for a cultural exchange with Sister City partners from Poland and the U.S. The visit, which included the Sedona International Film Festival and local art exhibitions, strengthened ties between Canmore, Sedona, and Jaslo (Poland). A Town Hall presentation and warm welcome from Sedona’s mayor highlighted the growing artistic collaboration.

👨‍🍳 Chef Collaboration at Sauvage

For two nights only (March 1–2, 2025), Sauvage partnered with Francine’s, a much-anticipated French bar opening in Calgary this summer. Chef Tracy Little of Sauvage joined forces with Chef Garrett Martin of Francine’s for an exclusive menu blending Sauvage’s wild, local cuisine with Francine’s French-inspired flavors. 🍷 A sold-out event, it gave guests a sneak peek at Francine’s future menu before its official launch.
